The first range of renewable textile dyes made from microorganisms.
Founded in 2015 by Jérémie Blache, the PILI start-up is made up of 10 employees (with 4 recruitments of people with scientific backgrounds planned for 2019). Its headquarters are located in Paris and the research team is based in Toulouse.
Within the next 3 years, PILI will offer textile manufacturers two unique ranges of renewable dyes made from microorganisms: one for synthetic fibres and the other for protein fibres. These new, effective and competitive dyes will enable the textile industry to reduce its ecological footprint through the use of bio-based products.
