2018 Edition

Participate to revolutionize

The Circular Challenge acts as an accelerator to bring your project to maturity and assures you of both tailored support and business opportunities.

No project is too small, each one could be a solution!

Meanwhile, while you're waiting for the fourth edition of the Circular Challenge, you can find out about the international winner in March 2019!

THE WINNER: LACTIPS

A new plastic made from animal products. The French company Lactips manufactures plastic pellets derived from milk protein that is unfit for consumption. This new plastic has the advantage of being soluble in both hot and cold water, printable, produced using existing plastic industry processes (blown film extrusion, injection, thermoforming, etc.) and also acts as an effective barrier for different gases. With a special mention to: Utile ici

The Utile Ici non-profit is importing the Dutch concept of a "Retourette" - a kind of inverted store where customers bring back their returnable receptacles - and adapting it to the French context.
This space combines a number of concepts: a mini-waste recycling centre; and providing community concierge services such as a pick-up point for parcels, fruit and vegetable deliveries and dry-cleaning, as well as being a real meeting place for local people.
